Lions Vision Scholarship Program
Lions Club International was founded in 1917 as a service organization. Following their international convention in 1925, the Lions took up the Helen Keller’s challenge to them to become “Knights of the Blind” and to focus their energies on sight and hearing conservation efforts. Their motto, “We Serve” describes very well their commitment to humanitarian service.
