Rock Hill Kiwanis Endowed Scholarship

The Rock Hill Kiwanis Club Endowed Scholarship was established in 1998 by the Rock Hill Kiwanis Club Board of Directors. The purpose of this scholarship is to afford an opportunity for deserving students to obtain a college education at York Technical College.

Criteria:

Applicant must:
  • be a full-time York Technical College student; meet or exceed the 3.0 grade point average as a freshman or
  • be in the top one-half of his/her graduating class and score no less than 1000 on the Scholastic Aptitude Test or equivalent; plan to complete his/her degree at York Technical College or transfer to a four year institution.
  • be able to demonstrate financial need, but not to the exclusion of other considerations; be a York Technical College student with permanent residence within the area included by Rock Hill School District No. 3.
  • show evidence of leadership or community service, integrity and good moral character; preference will be given to eligible candidates who have been active in a Key Club or Circle K Club.

Scholarships
