Dr. Baxter M. Hood Memorial Fund

The Dr. Baxter M. Hood Memorial Fund was created to provide financial assistance to students enrolled in the Early Childhood Development studies program. Dr. Hood served for two decades as President of York Technical College from 1970 to 1989.

Criteria:

  • The applicant must be enrolled in an Early Childhood Development program at York Technical College.
  • Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.0; display leadership qualities; and a degree of financial need.

A maximum of $500 per school year for tuition, books, and other program related costs.
