Hampton K. Snipes Endowed Scholarship

Mr. Hampton K. Snipes established this scholarship as a planned gift in memory of Martha Ella Snipes (Mother), Thomas Hampton Snipes (Father), and H. Kenneth Snipes Jr. (Son) to establish an endowment for Nursing (RN or LPN) students.

The endowment is to assist students enrolled in the Nursing program at York Technical College in an effort to address the regional shortage of nurses and allied health professionals.

Criteria:

  • Applicants must be South Carolina residents and enrolled in a Nursing program at York Technical College.
  • Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0; display leadership qualities; and a degree of financial need.
